TURBO TUESDAY!

Well the temperatures are rising and you know what that means! Overheated engine components, and one of the most overheated and over worked is the turbocharger. Many manufacturers are featuring turbo enhanced engines to help with horse power in the smaller displacement engines, which they are opting for to provide better fuel economy. The issue is the turbo chargers are not manufactured for they type of load they are being asked to carry, this results in overuse, and inevitably overheating of the turbo. This problem exists in the cars, and the light trucks, the diesel engines have issues also, but at much less frequency than the light trucks, with the popular Ford Eco Boost being one of the main offenders, since it is so popular these days.
